We live in an uncertain world.  Everyday we hear the reports of criminal activity taking place around the world, our Nation, and indeed in our local community.  While Pataskala is not impermeable to crime, the men and women of the Pataskala Division of Police believe that our motto of "Duty, Commitment, and Honor" is one that should be at the foundation of all we do.

Our desire is to provide an environment where every citizen and visitor feel a sense of safety and security.  Our office is always open to listen to the needs of the community and welcome constructive suggestions.  The father of law enforcement, Sir Robert Peel, taught us that the police department is provided its authority and purpose by the will of the people it serves.  Crime is a community problem, not a problem for the police department alone.  We need the help of the citizens in reducing crime and the fear of criminal activity.  Your suggestions, preventative measures, and support will provide for a safe place for all of us to live, work, and play.
