Planning & Zoning Commission Review:
Within thirty (30) days after receipt of the Preliminary Development Plan, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall hold a public hearing. The Preliminary Plan will go to the City Engineer for their review, which takes approximately two (2) weeks. If there are any revisions that the City Engineer requires, this review could be delayed by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Within thirty (30) days following the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall act to conditionally approve the Preliminary Plan in accordance with the criteria in Section 1255.18 of the Codified Zoning Ordinances.
Within thirty (30) days after submission of the Final Development Plan/Transportation Corridor Overlay District Review, the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing.
Within sixty (60) days after receipt of the Final Development Plan, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall make a recommendation to City Council.
City Council Review:
City Council must advertise an application for a public hearing for at least thirty (30) days.
The first reading of the Ordinance can be scheduled for the night of the public hearing.
City Council will have the second and third readings consecutively at the next two Council meetings. City Council meets in regular session the first and third Mondays of each month. |
