Merissa McKinstry is one of three at-large Council members elected by voters in all wards of the City. Merissa and her husband moved to Pataskala six years ago to start a family. Merissa's current term will expire on December 31, 2013.

"I am excited and humbled to serve as one of the at-large Council members serving all of Pataskala's residents. I am committed to ensuring all residents live in a safe and prosperous community. My interest in serving on Council is to help make sound decisions that will benefit Pataskala for years to come. Let there be no question that I am my own person, with my own opinions and views, and I will not hesitate to ask tough questions, be a critical thinker, and above all, do what is right for the common good of Pataskala. I am here to serve you, the people of Pataskala, no one else. Over the next year I am looking forward to listening to the concerns of the residents, being proactive, and serving as a consensus builder on City Council.
