|The City of Pataskala is a dynamic and growing community located in southwestern Licking County. The City is approximately 20 miles east of Downtown Columbus. With a 2010 population of 14962 residents, and almost 30 square miles in area, the City is the largest city in the county in geographic size, and one of the largest in the State.
The City is located between State Route 161 and U.S. 40 (The National Road) & Interstate 70, along the growing State Route 16 (Broad Street) Corridor and State Route 310 Corridor. The City's location is excellent for businesses needing easy access to major interstates, state routes, rail and air travel, with our close proximity to Port Columbus International Airport (within 10 miles) and Rickenbacher International Airport, which is an important intermodal hub.
The City has two school districts, Licking Heights Local School District, and Southwest Licking Local School District, and is home to a branch of the Central Ohio Technical College.
