Citizens Police Academy

Pataskala Division of Police Citizens Police Academy overview

The Citizens Police Academy provides individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge of daily operations that occur at the Pataskala Division of Police.  A primary goal is to educate citizens about various functions within the department and develop a rapport between citizens and police.  Students will learn about police activity that include topics in Patrol Operations, Criminal Investigations, laws of arrest, and witness the duties of a police officer first-hand.  The Citizens Police Academy is also an excellent opportunity for individuals to meet the men and women who protect and serve the City of Pataskala.

Pataskala Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association

Past attendees who have graduated from the Citizens Police Academy have formed the Pataskala Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA).  This group of dedicated members continually strive to improve our working relationship and provide assistance to the Pataskala Division of Police.  The PCPAAA is a valuable partnership because of their commitment to community service and high ethical standards.  We passionately encourage citizens to join the academy and lend their perspective of the department to help improve community relations.  For more information on the Citizens Police Academy enrollment please contact the Pataskala Division of Police @ (740) 927-5701 during business hours of 8am to 4pm, or you may visit the PCPAAA's Website @ http://www.pcpaa.org/.
