Message from Council Member Brush:
"I have been a resident since 1981, raising livestock (horses and sheep) and practicing law. As an attorney and farmer, I recognize the need for sound and orderly planning for the future of Pataskala, to preserve the rural environment, promote family values and provide quality growth that balances business, industry and residential needs with our limited resources.
"I look forward to adopting a comprehensive plan to direct our zoning; creating conservation and agricultural easements to preserve our woodlands, wetlands, prime soils and wildlife habitat for future generations; planning limited access thoroughfares for efficient transportation; and controlling the placement and service of utilities to meet the present commitments to our residents, while reserving a future ability to provide business growth without imposing an undue tax burden on our residents."
