If you have spotted a pothole that needs the City's attention please call City Hall at 740-927-2021. We have 2 to 4 guys from our Streets Department using 4 to 8 tons of hot mix a day trying to get the biggest potholes filled with the weather permitting. Summit, Havens Corners, 310 South, Cypress, Vine, Township, Licking, Oak Meadow, Cleveland, High and Headleys Mill are just a few that they have been out to patch. Please know that they are doing the biggest potholes on these roads for now to make sure we can get to all the problem areas. Once the big ones are taken care of they will go back out and patch the smaller ones.
By March 14th, Waste Management should be in full control of our City's trash service. There will be a transition period where you will still be seeing Big 'O' Refuse trucks, but will also see Waste Management trucks. Some of the Big 'O' Refuse trucks will stick around even after this transition period depending on their longevity. Waste Management will be sending out letters to residents letting them know more information about this matter. To read the letter now please click the read more button on the bottom of this article. It will also be posted on our Facebook page. If you have any questions please contact City Hall at 740-927-2021 and we will try to answer them as best as we can.
